Elderly man seriously injured in Lija collision

An elderly man was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Lija on Tuesday morning, the police said.

The collision involved a BMW which was being driven by a 22year-old Birkirkara man and another BMW being driven by a 69year-old of Lija.

The latter was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
