Three Maltese and three Libyans arrested in drug raids

Three Maltese and three Libyan men were arrested on Christmas Eve after they were caught in possession of drugs, the police said in a statement.

Five of the men were caught in possession of cannabis, while the other Maltese man, resident in Senglea, was caught in possession of 100 ecstasy pills.

The men’s ages range from 17 to 38. The arrests were carried out in Paceville and Gżira.

Magistrate Audrey Demicoli is conducting an inquiry.
