Gieh iz-Zejtun event

The Żejtun Local Council on the occasion of Żejtun Local Council Day, on Tuesday, 19th March, public holiday, will be organising a music-literature night at 7.30pm at the Żejtun Parish Hall, Republic Square, Żejtun. This event will also commemorate the 25th anniversary of local councils.

This event will promote the Maltese language with poems and stories that were shortlisted for the Żejtun Literature Contest 2019. On this occasion will be awarded Ġieħ iż-Żejtun to that person that contributed on local, national or international level for the benefit of Żejtun and its residents.

This event will be animated by the renowned singer Corazón Mizzi and band, with Maltese songs from her new album ‘GħallBejgħ’.
