-

A number of agents from RE/MAX Malta travelled to Spain between October 16-18 to attend RE/MAX Europe’s Reucon19: the 11th European Convention, held in Palma, Mallorca. The conference took place at Pueblo Espanol, a popular tourist attraction and events space. A number of venues within the village were taken over for the conference, forming a mini ‘RE/MAX Village’ with a variety of events, workshops and talks run by notable speakers.

The yearly EU convention brings together RE/MAX teams from all over Europe to network, share ideas, build relationships, and take their local operations to the next level. RE/MAX Malta CEO Kevin Buttigieg commented, “we attend the European conference every year because it’s a fantastic learning and networking opportunity for our team. With international speakers and chances to connect with RE/MAX agents across Europe, it’s a rewarding experience for all involved.”

This year’s edition of the conference was titled ‘Bridge to the Future’, and featured internationally-renowned speakers like Adam Contos – CEO of RE/MAX LLC, Ashley C Ford – internationally-acclaimed writer and podcaster, Walter Schneider – co-founder of RE/MAX Integra, and Malta’s own Paul Vincenti – a trainer and business coach who has trained thousands of agents all over the world.

RE/MAX Europe’s CEO Michael Polzer opened the conference with his talk ‘The Future has Arrived: The New Culture of Sales’ in which he discussed RE/MAX’s vision and place within the current and future real estate landscape in Europe. Paul Vincenti also held a talk on the first day of the conference, titled ‘Success in any Situation: Overcoming all Objections’.

The conference closed with a networking brunch, giving attendees the opportunity to connect and reconvene after two days of events. Mr Buttigieg continued: “this conference gives our agents a glimpse into the wider world of RE/MAX, and also provides a great team-building opportunity for our local group. We wouldn’t miss it.”
