Two children, woman hurt as car overturns in Qormi

Two children and a woman were hurt after a car was overturned in Qormi on Thursday evening, the police said.

The accident took place in Vjal de La Cruz at 8.30pm.

The driver, a 24-year-old woman from Vittoriosa, lost control of the Toyota Vitz she was driving and crashed into a Renault Megane, which was parked, before overturning.

The woman had two children in the car with her, a four-year-old girl and a one-year-old boy.

The children suffered slight injuries, while the woman was grievously hurt.

Police said that their investigations are currently ongoing.
