Man falls to his death in Marsa

A man from San Gwann fell to his death in Marsa on Thursday morning, the police said.

The man, aged 47, fell off the roof of a warehouse in Triq Belt il-Hazna, near the old power station, at around 9.15am.

He was later identified as Daniel Spiteri.

A police spokesperson said that the man was moving stuff from the warehouse’s roof.

He was certified dead on site. His son Nathaniel expressed his shock on Facebook and said that Spiteri always worked hard for the family.

Magistrate Charmaine Galea is leading an inquiry.
