Dhalia hosts property seminars in Stockholm and Gothenburg
Dhalia’s Luxury Living had an excellent response following its participation in two international property fairs, held in Stockholm and Gothenburg in February. The Stockholm property fair was held at the Globen Arena between 9 and 10 February while the Gothenburg fair was held at the Gothia Towers between 23 and 24 February.
Prior to the fairs, Dhalia also hosted two seminars, which were addressed by IngerSoderlund, Dhalia’s business partner in Sweden who was accompanied by Dhalia’s Luxury Living manager Michael Mifsud and John A. Huber of John Huber & Associates. The seminars were attended by delegates ranging from bankers, fund managers, tax consultants, lawyers and a number of high net worth clients including CEOs representing large Scandinavian corporations. Both seminars sought to explain the local tax regime and regulations when buying property abroad as well as information on retirement and holidaying in Malta.
The property fairs in Sweden were organised by Fairmedia International, Scandinavia’s largest organiser of overseas property fairs. The fairs were extremely successful and attracted tens of thousands of visitors, making them a success both for the organiser but more importantly for the exhibitors.
Speaking about the fairs Mr Mifsud said that, “the response received from previous visits to Stockholm and Gothenburg has encouraged us to return and promote Maltese properties in this very interesting market. Our investment in Sweden is creating various opportunities and throughout the past years we have facilitated a number of sales to Swedish residents seeking a home overseas”.
Dhalia Real Estate is fast becoming Malta’s agency of choice to most Scandinavian investors seeking to take up residence in Malta. Over the coming weeks Dhalia will be participating in another property fair in Sweden.
