Business leaders acknowledge Smart Technologies with four awards
A survey conducted among 27 participating companies from different sectors and industries awarded Smart Technologies Ltd with four important awards. The awards were announced and presented to Smart Technologies during the recent fourth edition of the Annual Business Leaders Conference at Montekristo vineyards organised by Business Leaders Malta.
The four awards for Leadership Effectiveness, Employee Wellbeing, Corporate Culture and Communication and Team Cohesiveness were awarded to Smart Technologies after the company was voted as the one mostly geared round the wellbeing of its employees at work, for its healthy communication with all employees and for being a company constant- ly instilling motivation and encouragement for more personal development.
Announcing the awards to all the employees, Joe Aquilina, CEO of Smart Technologies thanked everyone for the continued effort and dedication being shown towards the company and its mission.
“These four awards are a recognition and an affirmation in the great job we are doing and that the industry is aware of our work, our dedication and commitment. This would have never been possible without all the team’s input and we should now look ahead with more confidence to the new opportunities that await us and to more successful achievements in the future,” said Mr Aquilina in his company announcement.
“These awards could not have happened at a better time as this year coincides with the fifth anniversary from the set up of Smart Technologies. It is going to be another very challenging year but also a special one as the company will be moving to new premises in Lija, a new building that will offer further facilities and more space to host our growing team,” announced Mr Aquilina. Smart Technologies Ltd was also an active sponsor during the Annual Business Leaders conference having set up a system using Microsoft messaging tools, enabling all attendees present to post their comments via their tablet to the speakers thus interacting with the panel and making the discussion more open and interactive.
