SOLID 100.2 – A new radio station for the Maltese Islands

As from 30 September, as authorised by the Broadcasting Authority, the new radio station Solid 100.2 started broadcasting.

This station appeals to a wide range of listeners. Besides serving as good company, the aim of this station is to provide a service to the Maltese public.

“Solid 100.2 is going to be the alternative source of energy to our nation. A station, which is constantly going to stay in touch with the listeners as it offers a variety of evergreen music as well as discussions. This has been the main agenda of the station,” states Eileen Montesin, the station manager of the Solid 100.2.

Ms Montesin adds: “The listeners are going to get a taste of everything, as the programmes vary between musical programmes, magazine shows, cultural slots, news, as well as political discussions.”

The presenters for Solid 100.2 include Eileen Montesin, Steve Hili, Toni Borg, Angela Coleiro, Christine Haber, Charles Cordina, Charles Vella, Christian Busuttil, Jason Camilleri and Jimmy Galea.

With regards to the other programmes one can enjoy the company of Mariza B, Mary Tabone, Francesco Catania, Roberta Cini, Dr Emy Bezzina, Dr Therese Comodini Cachia, Edwin Vassallo, ex-parliamentary secretary, Cyrus Engerer, ex-mayor and architect Carmel Cacopardo.
