Marques de Murrieta named best world winery 2015

The Best Of Awards have celebrated this year their international edition. These prestigious awards are concerned about the pursuit of the excellence and quality in wine tourism. At the awards ceremony, celebrated in Argentina, the top world wine regions were represented.

This is an initiative from The Great Wine Capitals, which is a network of ten major global cities, both in the northern and southern hemispheres. After all the different regional editions, this award means a worldwide recognition, being chosen from the very best. Marqués de Murrieta takes another step on its international career winning this prize and helping Spain to have the best winery in the world.

The judges gave The Best Of Award 2015 to Marqués de Murri- eta because of its excellence, its international prestige and for being a model in Spain and all over the world. During the awards ceremony, the great work done by Marqués de Murrieta on preserving its history while trying to evolve at the same time, was emphasized, being able to obtain the perfect balance between tradition and modernity.

The President of Marqués de Murrieta, Vicente Cebrián-Sagarriga, Count of Creixell, has declared that is an honour for Marqués de Murrieta, for La Rioja and for Spain to receive this award, and that they will keep changing everything to make everything remain the same.
