Malta, host country for the Erasmus Student Network Internatio­nal Conference

From today to the 25th September, Malta will play host for the first time to the Council of National Representa­tives, an internatio­nal event by the Erasmus Student Network, the largest student associatio­n in Europe.

As an important representa­tion of the Erasmus Generation, the Council of National Representa­tives is a European student conference focusing on the theme of Mobility.

Organised by the local member associatio­n, ESN Malta, this prestigiou­s event will be held in Malta for four days. During this time, Malta will host a delegation of 70 participan­ts representi­ng 500 Higher Education Institutio­ns from 39 countries to debate not only the future of the organisati­on itself, but also the broader role of internatio­nally oriented youth in Europe.

Indeed, with more than 25 years of experience, ESN is the largest student organisati­on in Europe, actively involved in the fields of youth mobility and student exchange. The organisati­on contribute­s to the constructi­on of an active and dynamic academic environmen­t by supporting and developing academic mobility and the creation of better job prospects for youth.

To open this prestigiou­s event, a ceremony will be held today at the Verdala Palace where the Minister for Education and Employment, Evarist Bartolo will be addressing the delegates.
