Malta, host country for the Erasmus Student Network International Conference
From today to the 25th September, Malta will play host for the first time to the Council of National Representatives, an international event by the Erasmus Student Network, the largest student association in Europe.
As an important representation of the Erasmus Generation, the Council of National Representatives is a European student conference focusing on the theme of Mobility.
Organised by the local member association, ESN Malta, this prestigious event will be held in Malta for four days. During this time, Malta will host a delegation of 70 participants representing 500 Higher Education Institutions from 39 countries to debate not only the future of the organisation itself, but also the broader role of internationally oriented youth in Europe.
Indeed, with more than 25 years of experience, ESN is the largest student organisation in Europe, actively involved in the fields of youth mobility and student exchange. The organisation contributes to the construction of an active and dynamic academic environment by supporting and developing academic mobility and the creation of better job prospects for youth.
To open this prestigious event, a ceremony will be held today at the Verdala Palace where the Minister for Education and Employment, Evarist Bartolo will be addressing the delegates.
