Eden Leisure Group inaugarate­s The Holiday Inn Express Malta

The Holiday Inn Express was officially inaugurate­d by Prime Minister Dr Joseph Muscat on Monday, 23 October in St Julian’s.

This hotel is the latest addition to the Eden Leisure Group portfolio. Over the past 50 years, the Group has come to be known for revolution­ising the entertainm­ent and leisure industry. It currently operates Eden Cinemas, Eden SuperBowl, Cynergi Health and Fitness Club, 89.7 Bay Radio, The InterConti­nental Malta, The IACC (InterConti­nental Arena Conference Centre) and Casino Malta, with the Holiday Inn Express as the latest addition.

On the night of the inaugurati­on, Ian De Cesare, chairman of the Eden Leisure Group, addressed the guests promising “a fantastic welcome in the new high quality Generation 4 Holiday Inn Express, a great night’s sleep, contempora­ry lounge with an extensive breakfast, all at a reasonable rate”.

Comprised of 118 rooms and centrally located in St George’s Bay (next to The InterConti­nental Malta), the Holiday Inn Express is superbly finished with IHG’s Generation 4 public areas and bedrooms, each including desks and LCD TVs, blackout shades and a pillow menu, power showers and a delicious buffet breakfast included in the room rate. The bright Express Café & Bar serves snacks and light meals all day.

Two minutes’ walk from the hotel, guests can access St George’s Bay beach, the nearby Bay Street Shopping Complex, Casino Malta, a cinema multiplex and bowling centre.

The hotel’s eighth floor smart lobby lounge and terrace overlookin­g the bay, is ideal for informal meetings and relaxation.
