International conference in Malta to host 300 nurses from around the world

The Department of Nursing, University of Malta, will be hosting the next general international conference of the European Federation of Nurse Educators between 21 and 23 February. The selection of the Department of Nursing to host this prestigious and most important event in the international world of nurse education took place through a very competitive process. As a central event in the world of nurse education hosting it is a great honour for the nursing profession in Malta and the country as a whole.

The conference will be held at the University of Malta Valletta Campus and will bring together 300 nurses from around the world. The conference aims to address the opportunities and challenges for nursing and nurse education, against the backdrop of a changing world.

The Department of Nursing would like to invite interested parties to consider participation in the conference through the registration of staff as delegate/s to the conference. Presentation of a paper in the conference is being encouraged. This offers a great opportunity to inform and disseminate activity/performance and research carried out by a department/entity/company operating in the health and social care sectors. Opportunity to submit an abstract of a paper (300 words) is available until 15 November. Please visit the website for submission of abstracts.

Various opportunities for sponsorship are available. Requests are to reach the organising committee by not later than 23 November and will be considered on a first-come first-served basis.
