Mazars launches global ‘Women@Mazars’ programme

-

International audit and consulting group Mazars has launched ‘Women@Mazars’, a global programme aimed at accelerating gender diversity within the organisation. The programme aims to support the promotion of innovative and inspiring initiatives from all over the world, as Mazars moves towards achieving its aspiration to become a more modern firm.

As part of this programme, Mazars has engaged the support of sixty ‘Gender Diversity Sponsors’ originating from more than 45 countries where the Group operates. These will form a collective task force for the firm, as well as individual points of contact for concrete gender-based initiatives in their respective countries, all of which will be monitored by the Group via a global dashboard.

Moreover, Mazars has published a ‘Gender Diversity Guidebook’, which gathers some of the most inspiring success stories from across the Mazars network and offers easy-to-implement best practices that can help improve diversity and inclusion within the organisation. This material can also be accessed via a dedicated ‘Women at Mazars’ app.

Commenting on ‘Women@Mazars’, Mazars Malta Managing Partner Anthony Attard said that this programme plays a pivotal role in the firm’s global strategy to enhance the development and retention of women leaders, creating an environment where all of the firm’s best and brightest excel.

“Women@Mazars is a long-term effort supporting the full potential of women leaders at Mazars through education, awareness, and improving visibility of and access to role models.

Through this programme, Mazars, including the firm in Malta, will be actively engaging both men and women at the firm, building diverse teams to enhance the growth of the firm and the individual.” Attard explained that while the staff complement at Mazars Malta already features a very high percentage of women, “we need to enhance their visibility and their leadership acumen to improve their chances of reaching the top”.

The ‘Women at Mazars’ app is available both on the Apple store and on google play.
