Your BOV Visa cards can win you a pass to the World Cup

Bank of Valletta is pleased to announce the launch of a new and exciting promotion whereby all BOV Visa cardholders stand the chance to win the trip of a lifetime.

Bank of Valletta in liaison with Visa has prepared an experience lottery whereby all BOV Visa cardholders stand the chance to win an all-inclusive travel package to watch a semi-final match or the final match of the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018.

The promotion, which will run until 28 April, is open to all BOV Visa cardholders who use their BOV Visa debit and BOV Visa credit cards to effect purchases during this period. In fact just one payment, whether done locally, overseas or online will guarantee a stake in the draw that will see two lucky winners travelling to Russia. Contactless payments using the bank’s recently issued Visa contactless cards will also automatically participate in the draw, therefore, the more purchases that are effected within the period, the greater the chances of winning.

There will be two FIFA World Cup packages to be won, one to watch the final match and one to watch a semi-final match. Both packages include a full five-day programme for the winner and guest, which among others include deluxe hotel accommodation, tickets to the match and access to the pre-match hospitality area.

“Bank of Valletta will also be providing each of the winners with a €3,000 complimentary cash prize. The funds will be credited to the winners’ Visa card account,” said Ivo Camilleri, executive head Electronic Banking at Bank of Valletta.

The FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 will start towards the end of June, with the final game slotted for Sunday, 15 July in Moscow, Russia.
