2018 University of Malta Indoor Rowing championships

The University of Malta Rowing Club is pleased to announce the 2018 University of Malta Indoor Rowing championships, which will be held at the University of Malta, Msida Campus (Sports Hall) on Friday, 27 April.

The first race is scheduled to start at 12.15pm. Races include individual events of 2000m, 1000m and 500m as well as a relay team event. This event is open to all University of Malta students, staff and alumni and is being hosted with the kind support of the University of Malta Degree+ progamme, the Institute for Physical Education and Sport and the Malta Rowing Association.

Full details and the online registration form are available on the University of Malta Indoor Rowing championships at uomrowing.wordpress.com/indoors. All participants should register online – closing date is Tuesday, 24 April at 8pm.

In exceptional circumstances (for example, due to international travel, work commitments, and so on) a participant may request to “race” on a different day/time prior to the event and have his/her time recorded. Such a request should be made upon registering or by sending an email on uomrowing@gmail.com.

Although every effort will be made to accommodate such requests, the organisers cannot guarantee an alternative time slot, especially if the request is not made well in advance.
