BOV 24x7 ser­vices down­time

Bank of Val­letta would like to ad­vise its cus­tomers that due to a planned upgrade to the BOV In­ter­net Bank­ing plat­form, BOV 24x7 Ser­vices will be un­avail­able on Sun­day, 20 May from 2am on­wards. It is es­ti­mated that the ser­vice will be re­stored early in the morn­ing on Mon­day, 21 May.

As pre­vi­ously an­nounced, this upgrade will re­sult in the launch of a new BOV In­ter­net Bank­ing por­tal, which will be eas­ier to nav­i­gate and more user-friendly.

Un­til the sys­tems are up­dated, the bank’s In­ter­net Bank­ing and Mo­bile Bank­ing, as well as Phone Bank­ing will not be avail­able. BOV cards and ATMs will not be af­fected, so cus­tomers may con­tinue us­ing them in the nor­mal man­ner.

The bank will be is­su­ing another no­ti­fi­ca­tion as soon as the sys­tem upgrade is con­cluded and the ser­vice is re­stored. Mean­while, sub­scribers of BOV Mo­bile Bank­ing are ad­vised that fol­low­ing the upgrade, they would be re­quired to up­date their BOV Mo­bile ap­pli­ca­tion from their An­droid or iOS Stores.

While apol­o­gis­ing for any in­con­ve­nience caused, the bank would like to as­sure its cus­tomers that all nec­es­sary ac­tion is be­ing taken to en­sure that the down­time is kept to a min­i­mum. Mean­while, any­one wish­ing fur­ther de­tails or as­sis­tance, is cor­dially in­vited to con­tact the bank’s Cus­tomer Ser­vice Cen­tre via cus­tomer­care @bov. com or by tele­phone on 2131 2020.
