MaltaPost launches the Maltex Philatelic Exhibition and Collectors’ fair

MaltaPost is proud to organise the Maltex Philatelic Exhibition and Collectors’ fair which comes to an end today at the Casino Maltese, Valletta. This exhibition once again invited a number of enthusiast­s and local collectors to display their philatelic i

This year, the exhibition showcased various collectors’ items beyond philately, such as, coins and medals, World War II memorabili­a, traditiona­l Maltese bottles and other branded bottles, unique milk bottles caps and various sports memorabili­a.

The fair is open until today between 9.30am and 4.30pm. Entrance is free of charge.

For this special event the Philatelic Bureau issued an Occasion Card and a Personalis­ed Stamp/Cover. The card is available in mint and cancelled condition from the MaltaPost stand at the Maltex Exhibition and from the Philatelic Bureau. A temporary letter box service will also be provided during the opening hours of the exhibition.

The cards and mail posted will be cancelled with the Maltex special hand stamp inscribed Maltex 18 − Malta Philatelic Exhibition and Collectors’ fair.
