The Leader of the Opposition Adrian Delia augurs LifeCyclists for their upcoming challenge
The Leader of the Opposition Adrian Delia met the cyclists who will be participating in this year’s Nescafé 3in1 LifeCycle Challenge. The meeting was held at the Nationalist Party Headquarters. Dr Delia wished every success to all cyclists participating in this year’s edition.
The LifeCycle Foundation has for the past 21 years been doing sterling work for patients with kidney disease, as well as offering support to their families. In addition, it is raising awareness about organ donations and transplants in this country. Dr Delia praised the important work being carried out by LifeCycle Foundation with all those who suffer from kidney disease.
At present, cyclists are doing their final training phase for the challenge, before they depart Malta on Monday, 9 September to begin their 10-day challenge where they will be cycling nearly 2,000kms from Vietnam to Laos and then to Cambodia. Cyclists will return to Malta on 24 September.
Ryan Callus, Opposition spokesperson for Youth, Sport and Combating Obesity accompanied Dr Delia. LifeCyclists were accompanied by LifeCycle founder Alan Curry, the Foundation chairperson Dr Shirley Cefai and Nestlé Marketing & Corporate Communications manager Alfred J. Borg.
“We thank Dr Adrian Delia for receiving us and appreciate your kind words. Your support will further boost our spirits and determination for our Nescafé 3in1 LifeCycle Challenge 2019,” said Curry.
