Helpline for anonymous and confidential help related to gambling

-

Gluecksfall has launched its helpline for problematic gamblers, their loved ones and for professionals who need extra support. The caller will be guaranteed anonymity and confidentiality and they will speak with a qualified counsellor, who will be our helpline agent. Only qualified professionals will be helpline agents, in order to ensure the highest standard of care.

For the time being, the helpline will only run once a week on Wednesdays. We will then be assessing the need of this helpline and should we notice that the need is a large one, we will be increasing our service over more days. The helpline can be reached by calling or texting +356 7933 3374. Should someone require support outside of the regular hours, one can send an email on malta@gluecksfall.com.

Gluecksfall has been offering helplines for German-speaking individuals and Turkish-speaking individuals since 2016. And this year it started offering a helpline for Maltese and English-speaking gamblers who require local support. The helpline also offers itself for loved ones and family members of pathological or problematic gamblers and also for professionals who require support themselves.

Gluecksfall is an association that offers help and advice for gambling addicts and those at risk. Since its foundation, Gluecksfall has been active in advising gaming providers and intermediaries in the area of responsible gaming.
