-

An introductory 45-minute masterclass in public speaking delivered by an experienced speaker on how to speak effectively and, moreover, enjoy the process is being organised by Malta BNI in its series of BNI Business Briefings (BBB). This briefing via zoom will be particularly helpful for anyone who finds themselves in a position where they need to be able to speak fluently and effectively in varied situations, including major events and know that they need to improve their presentation, for example due to a recent promotion or starting a new venture.

These free and inspirational

BBBs by Malta BNI aim to offer the public, including Malta BNI members, the opportunity to gain insights and knowledge about the various aspects of running a professional business and, in the meantime, doing this with competence, style and savoir faire.

Widely-travelled David Bullock has lived and worked in Europe, North America, southern Africa and the Far East, as well as driving overland from London to Cape Town via Syria, Egypt, Ethiopia and Rhodesia. He has worked for UniLever and BP as well as running one of the largest and most successful FMCG companies in S.E. Asia.

His experience as a public speaker includes addressing major political conferences, being Educational V-P with Toastmasters International and winning numerous awards for impromptu public speaking.

On Wednesday, 17 November at 12noon, the masterclass, entitled Public speaking without tears, will address preparation, mind-set, structure, delivery, anchoring and gaining experience. Free registration is already open at: https://bit.ly/3n8eHSj

“For anyone who has heard themselves say that ‘public speaking is a fate worse than death itself’, this is essential and should not be delayed,” explained Bullock. “This master-class will be particularly helpful for managing directors, marketing directors, sales managers, priests, NGO leaders, a best man or father of the bride, inexperienced broadcasters or even accident-prone politicians.”

As an international business referral organisation, BNI today has over 10,000 chapters in more than 70 countries across the globe. Non-BNI businesses from Malta are being invited to join the above-mentioned event or one of Malta BNI chapter meetings in Malta, so that they too can experience some of the great potential that BNI’s international dimension can offer, especially in these challenging times.

Established in 1986, BNI’s proven business networking platform provides its members with the ideal environment, technology, training and support to help them build strong businesses irrespective of size. Set up in 2012, Malta BNI today has five active chapters which are currently generating new business leads for their members.
