APS chief Risk officer appointed to MACM Council

At a meeting held on 11 November, Giovanni Bartolotta, APS Bank chief Risk officer, was appointed to the Council of the Malta Association of Credit Management (MACM) for the next two years.

MACM was established in 2001 and became part of the Federation of European Credit

Management Associations (FECMA) in 2003. It is a nonprofit organisation providing credit management information to its members, promoting good credit management practices and encouraging an efficient framework in the collection of payables. Members of MACM hail from all sectors of the Maltese economy and represent a substantial share of the country’s GDP. MACM also promotes and supports any legislative measures which foster a healthy credit environment in Malta and at EU level.
