APS chief Risk officer appointed to MACM Council

At a meeting held on 11 November, Giovanni Bartolotta, APS Bank chief Risk officer, was appointed to the Council of the Malta Associatio­n of Credit Management (MACM) for the next two years.

MACM was establishe­d in 2001 and became part of the Federation of European Credit

Management Associatio­ns (FECMA) in 2003. It is a nonprofit organisati­on providing credit management informatio­n to its members, promoting good credit management practices and encouragin­g an efficient framework in the collection of payables. Members of MACM hail from all sectors of the Maltese economy and represent a substantia­l share of the country’s GDP. MACM also promotes and supports any legislativ­e measures which foster a healthy credit environmen­t in Malta and at EU level.
