Melita joins launch of Italy’s Magic Spectrum business incubator

Melita Limited is one of the partners in Magic Spectrum, a new Italian accelerati­on programme for European startups and scale-ups to develop 5G and Internet of Things (IoT) based products and services. Created by Digital Magics (www.digitalmag­ics.com/en/), a technology focussed incubator with locations across Italy, Magic Spectrum will welcome initial applicatio­ns for investment and technical support from start-ups until 21 January 2022.

Magic Spectrum, which also includes Cisco, Inwit, Irdeos and Unipol Tech among its partners, will seek to accelerate the developmen­t of businesses using 5G or IoT to develop B2B and B2C products in the following areas: smart home and building, smart mobility, smart factory, retail and logistics, Agrifood, health and wellness. Up to 15 start-ups will be selected to enter the programme from this first call for applicatio­ns.
