71,000 old Yellow Pages books collected, 110 tonnes of paper to be exported and recycled

Yellow Pages is set to export 110 tonnes of paper to be recycled at a mill in Canada, having successfully completed a nationwide collection of its old books, replacing them with the new edition of the Yellow Pages.

Almost 71,000 books were collected this year, which amount to 7.2 per cent more books collected than last year.

In recognition of its ongoing efforts to contribute for the preservation of our environment, Yellow Pages (Malta) Ltd was awarded the Conservation Award for Sustainable Development in 2011.
