Maltese Pharmacist addresses International Pharmacy meeting

On the occasion of the centenary celebrations of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), pharmacist Lynn Marie Mifsud was invited to address the FIP world congress held earlier this month in Amsterdam.

Ms Mifsud presented work from her project which she finalised last year as part of her studies leading to a degree in pharmacy. In her project Ms Mifsud compiled the history of FIP. During the address Ms Mifsud presented highlights and documents relating to the contribution of FIP towards the scientific and professional devel- opments in pharmacy over the past 100 years.

Ms Mifsud carried out her project under the supervision of Professor Anthony SerracinoInglott from the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Malta and carried out her fieldwork at the FIP headquarters in The Hague, The Netherlands.
