Mainstream media exposed

-

The world is passing through some of the most difficult times it has ever experienced. In the light of this, mainstream media has the huge burden of responsibility to bring out those stories that answer many critical questions about events that are occurring around us. One such questions is: Why the lack of trust in mainstream media itself? A recent Gallup survey revealed that 60 per cent of all Americans have little or no trust in mainstream media.

Mainstream media began with JP Morgan, Warburg and Rockefeller and has evolved into the manipulation of politics and society on a global scale. This manipulation has never been so strong – with media being controlled by mainly six large companies: General Electric; Time Warner; Walt Disney Co; News Corporation; Viacom; and CBS.

The globalisation and centralisation of media on such a large scale has not come without a price in that it created a sense of suspicion in what is fed to the audiences by way of truth, distractions, coverups and brainwashing. Control in the hands of these six corporations means that almost everything we see, hear and watch serves mainly the interests of these corporate giants and the other corporate giants that spend billions of dollars to advertise through them. The small bits of truth have to be searched for and sifted with a finetooth comb to get to them. There is indeed a battle for the control of information and also of minds and this comes by way of what kind of information is broken on the news.

Many are those who are losing their trust in mainstream media as many stories of utmost importance are not being passed on to them and many questions that are of worldwide economic, social, political and spiritual significance are not being answered or touched upon by mainstream media. Examples of some of these questions were asked by Michael Snyder writing in infowars.com. He says that some of these questions that should be answered by mainstream media are: 1 Why is Switzerland preparing for “major civil unrest” throughout Europe? 2 If the Spanish financial system completely collapses, what will this mean for the rest of Europe and the rest of the globe? 3. Why is the IMF warning that there is an “alarmingly high” risk of a deeper global econom-

ic slowdown? 4. Is Turkey about to drag the rest of NATO (including the United States) into a war with Syria? 5. Why are some analysts predicting that a “rapid collapse” is coming for the US dollar? 6. Will the US dollar soon lose its status as the primary reserve currency of the world? 7. Why are the Romney campaign signs being smeared with excrement? 8. British taxpayers spent the equivalent of $57.8 million on the royal family in 2011. In the same year, US taxpayers spent $1.4 billion dollars on the Obamas. How in the world can this be justified? 9. Why is the mainstream media ignoring a warning that an international gang of cybercriminals plans “to steal money from the online accounts of thousands of customers of 30 or more major US banks? 10. Why is the United Nations pushing to have the authority to impose “global taxes” on all of us? 11. How is it that sex-trafficking is now at epidemic levels all over the United States? 12. Is the US Supreme Court about to make it illegal to resell our own stuff at garage sales, in charity shops and on eBay?
