Conscious eating workshops every last Sunday of the month

-

On every last Sunday in the month, Dr Lydia Ukhaneva will be facilitating theoretical and practical workshops, sharing her knowledge and 20 years experience of Conscious Eating practices at Angka Cafe Rejuvenation Centre and Green Clinic in Marsa.

Each person’s physical, mental and emotional needs are unique and therefore there is not one diet or one product that is suitable for all.

Conscious Eating means developing an understanding of your body’s constitutional make-up. The reaction of foods in one body can be the exact opposite in another. The workshops serve to empower individuals to understand their own body, develop their intuition and sensitivity, detoxify and cleanse and refresh their palate.

Incorporating both cutting edge nutritional science with a more traditional and complementary healing approach, from Ayurveda to Kinesthesiology, the objective is to enable the sharing of both theoretical and practical techniques.

The workshops take the form of an informal lecture with an emphasis on developing easy to adopt and implement cooking skills. Lunch is prepared and eaten together in celebration of receiving the inspiration to change participant’s dietary lives.

The next event is being held today, 28 October, at 10am at Angka Cafe in Marsa with a special emphasis on the long-term health benefits and accompanying weight loss when adopting a Raw Food Lifestyle. Other forthcoming workshops include: ‘Natural Help for Coping with Anxiety and Depression’, ‘Eating Yourself Beautiful’, ‘Coping Naturally With the Menopause’, ‘Natural WeightLoss’, ‘Eating for Allergies’ and ‘Natural Aid for Arthritis and Rheumatism’, amongst others to be announced.
