Sugar and spice and all things ... desirable
Boux Avenue treats guests to celebrate its opening in Plaza
It was a decadent affair at the grand opening of Boux Avenue in Plaza on Thursday 18 October. Guests were treated to free flowing wine and sushi together with a tantalising sweet display set up by Candylicious. This new lingerie store which opened on Level 3 at the popular Sliema shopping complex is the first store to be opened in Malta.
Recently launched in the UK in April 2011, by highly regarded businessman, Theo Paphitis, Boux Avenue specialises in stylish lingerie, nightwear, swimwear and accessories, with a great eye for detail and gorgeous designs. Roll on a year and Boux Avenue is already setting up its international business with a store Rejkjavic, Gibraltar and now Malta.
Richard Aquilina, Boux Avenue’s UK’s Franchise Director with Maltese roots, was present for the Sliema opening. Addressing the guests, Mr Aquilina announced he felt confident that the Malta outlet would be a big hit amongst the Maltese Market particularly due to its prime location. He was also pleased to be collaborating with Ben Arpa and his team who he was positive would embrace the Boux Avenue style and flair.
Boux Avenue is a luxurious shopping haven with that feel-good factor where every woman is made to feel desirable no matter the shape, age or size. The store features a chic monochrome design with lingerie cleverly displayed in drawers according to size, and three different light settings in the fitting rooms that emulate day, dusk and night. Mr Aquilina remarked that the Malta outlet was by far one of the best designed stores amongst the International Boux Avenue stores.
