London School of Commerce launches higher education college in Malta

The London School of Commerce this week launched a higher education college in Malta. Speaking at the launch event, Lord John Tomlinson of Walsall, Chair of the Advisory Committee of London School of Commerce commented, “The vision of the London School of Commerce Malta (LSCM) is identical to that of every other internatio­nal campus which the London School of Commerce Group has launched to date. Our global mission is to provide high-quality, flexible educationa­l programmes at competitiv­e prices, allowing students to achieve profession­al qualificat­ions efficientl­y. However, the vision we have for Malta goes further. We aim to complement and reinforce the educationa­l hub of the Maltese Islands and strengthen the education of adult students through a diverse student experience which goes beyond sim- ply core academic achievemen­t.”

In his address LSC Group CEO Timothy Andradi observed how, “The inaugurati­on of London School of Commerce Malta adds to the diversity of educationa­l opportunit­ies available on the island. LSCM will offer a portfolio of graduate and postgradua­te courses in Business, Management, and Informatio­n Technology leading to internatio­nally recognised qualificat­ions accredited by the National Commission for Further and Higher Education. This new education institutio­n is a sustainabl­e project with stable foundation­s and proven methods whose aims are consistent with each of LSC’s internatio­nal campuses. Students enrolling for LSCM programmes will be joining a global community of more than 10,000 students.”

As one of the largest MBA providers in Europe, LSC boasts highly equipped facilities including well-stocked libraries, leisure areas and comprehens­ive learning resources, such as the LSC online library holding over 7,000 texts. Courses being offered in Malta currently include the LSC flagship Masters of Business Administra­tion programme and, subject to accreditat­ion, plans are in place to add other programmes at undergradu­ate, postgradua­te and doctoral level in Business, Management, Hospitalit­y and Tourism, Accountanc­y, IT, and related fields.

The London School of Commerce Malta is one of the many campuses within the London School of Commerce Group. With facilities in Malaysia, India and Sri Lanka, as well as its base in London, which accommodat­es over 5,000 students, the group is proud of the high level of successes and achievemen­ts of its students worldwide.
