The response to the announcement of this talk has already been overwhelming, and our offices have been inundated with calls and email requesting invitations. The success of this forum shows how much business leaders value direct access to high level insights

Understanding that business news is about gaining advantage through information The Malta Business Weekly is committed to hosting these events bringing together Malta’s leading economic stakeholders to discuss directly the issues that matter. This was why in March The Malta Business Weekly was proud to act as media partners for The Economist’s “Business Roundtable with the Government of Malta”, and then in April we were delighted to cosponsor the Zeinab Badawi business talk on “How the media covers the world’s biggest issues”. Building on the success of these events, the new series of business breakfasts will also see a range of high profile speakers addressing industry representatives vital business topics.
Last week also saw the addition to The Malta Business Weekly’s masthead of the phrase “Leaders in business and financial news for 20 years”. This clearly communicates to our readers that this newspaper understands that it has established a reputation, over 20 years, as a guide and trusted partner for Malta’s business leaders. In this age of instant, and often free, information users of that knowledge understand that it is not the availability of information that sets the value of the news, but the credibility of the source. With this latest event, as the leader in business and financial news, for 20 years, The Malta Business weekly is continuing in its mission to give leaders the information they need to build success.
