The BOV/PwC 2015 Family Business Forum announced
Bank of Valletta and PwC are once again organising the third edition of the Family Business Forum to be held on 13th May at Xara Lodge, Rabat.
In this year’s event, themed ‘Professionalising the Family’, Bank of Valletta and PwC will be drawing on their expertise to shed light on a number of issues affecting family businesses. Speakers will highlight possible solutions that leaders of such enterprises can adopt to professionalise themselves in a manner that ensures sustainable growth in a framework of family values and beliefs.
The forum will be opened by Kevin Valenzia, PwC Malta’s Territory Senior Partner who will highlight the objectives of the forum. Joseph Agius, Chief Technology Officer at Bank of Valletta will then address the challenges posed by the digital world followed by Joseph Muscat, Head of Advisory at PwC who will discuss change management and how to keep pace with it. The forum will also be addressed by Dr Chris Cardona, Minister for the Economy, Investment and Small Business, and the bank’s Chief Executive Officer Charles Borg will close the event. There will also be a panel of leading family business owners discussing the practical aspects of family business transformation.
