6PM appointed Alfresco Gold Partner Systems Integrator

6PM announced that it has become an Alfresco Gold Partner Systems Integrator.

The Alfresco partnership is key to 6PM for a number of reasons. Using 6PM’s iFIT Connectors, Alfresco will allow 6PM to extend its iFIT iRecords solutions with a cost effective electronic document management repository to provide an integrated view of a patient’s record, in paper and digital, during the transition process to digitisation.

Alfresco will also allow 6PM to provide an Electronic Document Management repository with integration to RiO. Using its proven API integration with RiO, 6PM has developed an EDM solution for Mental Health and Community Trusts using Alfresco, to provide integration from RiO directly to the EDM solution in patient context. The solution will provide clinicians with richness in searching and filtering safely stored document attachments from RiO and any future generated patient related information, scanned images, electronic files, videos or pictures. The solution will address information governance challenges by providing a full audit trail of access, version control of documents and secure storage with record retention services as well as maximise on Alfresco’s secure collaboration functionality to allow sharing for information in health communities.

From its years of experience of configuring workflows for NHS Trusts and its extensive under- standing of the business requirements, 6PM will be offering a suite of workflow processes, built within Alfresco’s Activity Business Process Management Tool. Processes will include HR recruitment, HR termination, Freedom of Information requests, electronic triage of GP referrals and Oncology referrals.
