Study Travel Star Awards confer yet another award nomination on EC

-

Maltese-owned EC English Language Centres – with more than 20 schools in five countries in 3 continents – is delighted to have been nominated for an award from the prestigious Language Travel Magazine Star Awards 2016.

EC has been nominated in the ST Star ‘Chain School’ category.

The Star Awards for International Education are organised by Language Travel Magazine, the leading international language industry publication distributed to tens of thousands of professionals in more than 100 countries. Monthly issues provide a comprehensive insight into all aspects of the language training and travel industry.

The awards, now in their 11th year, ‘recognise organisations excellence in business performance’. All entries are voted for by hundreds of agents, who place confidential votes for their preferred choice from hundreds of language schools and educational centres worldwide.

Michael Xuereb, Chief Executive Officer for EC, commented on the nomination, saying: “The ST Star Chain School award remains the industry’s most recognised award for groups such as ourselves who have schools in multiple destinations.

“The winners will be announced on 3 September at the Study Travel Awards ceremony and I’m very hopeful that EC will be going up to collect the award. Winning this prestigious accolade for a second time – we had won this award in 2011, would be a great way to help us celebrate our 25th anniversary in style.”

“EC are continual innovators despite global challenges that our industry has faced over the past couple of years; I’m certain ST Star Awards will recognise this, which in turn gives us a great chance of securing the big prize,” Mr Xuereb added.
