Wingfield and Bezzina eliminated

Charlotte Wingfield and Luke Bezzina were yesterday eliminated from the respective 100m competitions.

After finishing with the best in the qualifiers, Charlotte Wingfield partecipated in heat 6 in round 1, finishing 8th in her heat with a time of 11.90 seconds. Wingfield finished in 57 th place overall.

Meanwhile Luke Bezzina failed to move past the qualifiers when he finished third in his qualifying heat clocking 11.04 seconds. This time was 0.37 less than his personal best of 10.67.

Luke Bezzina finished in 12 th position from 21 athletes taking part in the qualifiers.
