Gato Negro: adored worldwide

-

Malta hosted its first Gato Negro Rooftop Party on 10 August at the Royal Malta Yacht Club in Ta’ Xbiex, and judging by the encouraging feedback which ensued, it will surely not be the last.

The event exclusively hosted the first 200 Gato fans that were the quickest at submitting their application for a free invitation via social media. The night showcased a memorable partnership between this charming Chilean brand and the summer magic which Maltese venues are known to offer. Wine lovers in Malta joined others across the globe in celebrating the often overlooked fun aspect of wine as numerous Gato Negro Rooftop Parties are organised across the globe.

On the night, the Gato Negro Bar poured the full range of va- rietal wines including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Carmenère and Chardonnay amongst others. Particularly flowing were the refreshing Sauvignon Blanc, the Rosé produced from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and the attractive Pinot Noir, an ideal red for our hot summer nights. The party boasted numerous Gato branded features across the rooftop, including artist Joseph Barbara creating a custom Gato Negro painting for the night.

Juicy BBQ food and colourful fireworks lit up the Ta’Xbiex Marina courtesy of the San Lawrenz festa in Birgu making this event truly spectacular. Gato Negro is a member of the Viňa San Pedro Group and is exclusively represented locally by Attard& Co Food Ltd
