Every cake is a masterpiece; besides good baking knowledge, there is one secret ingredient which can make all the difference between an average cake and a scrumptious one: passion. “Passion comes first,” explains Noel of Mannarinu Caterers. “One needs to literally fall in love with the cake one is baking before even attempting to bake it.”

Our clients come to us with a very specific vision of what they are looking for while others may have come across our cake designs and fallen in love with a certain cake. So, we can either replicate that design for them or tweak it slightly to suit their individual requirements.

“When one creates a wedding cake one is not just creating a cake, one is creating memories. It’s a symbolic part of the big day so everybody’s cake is important − it’s their dream,” explains Noel. The design process varies from client to client. Sometimes it’s very easy and as soon as the consultation process starts, ideas start flowing in a linear sequence and textures and colours start springing to life.
