Third edition of 60-hour Talbot & Bons live music marathon charity event

-

With preparations already well in hand for the third edition of the Talbot & Bons Live Music Marathon, the organisers, Talbot & Bons at Skyparks Business Centre at Malta International Airport and entertainment.com.mt, have been distributing the proceeds of last year’s event.

Amy Talbot, director of Talbot & Bons and Stephanie Camilleri, Events manager at entertainment.com.mt, visited the Salesian Brigade at the Salesian Oratory in Sliema to present a donation to enable them to continue their work in teaching music to children with a troubled background.

They were welcomed by Captain Leonard Falzon, who explained the mission of the Salesian Brigade, which was founded in 1910, to care and challenge young people for life through a programme of informal education (non-formal learning), underpinned by the Roman Catholic Church and the Salesian Spirit.

The 2017 edition of the Talbot & Bons live music marathon will once again feature 60 onehour live performances by established and up-and-coming artists and bands presenting a mixture of genres – all for a good cause, to raise funds for disadvantaged children to be able to obtain musical education.

Yo Bet It is the official sponsors for this event and will be covering most of the expenses needed to hold this marathon. Yo Bet It is committed towards Corporate Social Responsibility in areas such as sports and arts. It is a privilege for Talbot & Bons to work hand in hand with such a company. Any singers, musicians or bands who wish to perform during the marathon to be held in October are asked to visit www.entertainment.com.mt/mymusicmystory and for more information send an email to Amy Talbot on amy@talbotbons.com
