ZAAR celebrates eight months of successful campaigns

● Maltese crowdfunding site ZAAR marks eight months of successful projects all achieving their funding goals

-

Local crowdfunding platform ZAAR has celebrated the unique achievement of eight months in which all projects listed on the site have reached their funding goals – and more.

Most campaigns on the site have in fact exceeded their target during that time, with particular success enjoyed by culture-oriented campaigns such as the Bad Dad North American Tour 2017, an Open- ing Doors Our Dream to Perform campaign which helped 37 young adults with intellectual difficulties create a performance, and a campaign to support an immersive performance art piece named ‘Inwardly Silent’.

Over the seven months several campaigns also raised over double their initial goal amount, including a campaign by the Autism Parents Association to fund a new Maltese language Autism Handbook, Lovin Malta’s Campaign for Change that hopes to affect local politics with a billboard advertising campaign, and a charity drive by Round Table Malta and XFM in aid of the Ursuline Sisters Creche in Sliema.

“We are delighted to note that our onboarding process is working with the ongoing success of all the crowdfunding campaigns included on ZAAR over the last eight exciting months,” says ZAAR manager Matthew Caruana. “We now look forward to continuing this impressive track record with more campaigns every day reaching their respective funding goals.”

The remaining crowdfunding campaigns listed on the site, some of which are soon to reach their closing dates, are set to continue this success record on ZAAR.

The RE/MAX ALIVE2017 Cycling Challenge has to-date achieved just under 99 per cent of its target with over a month left, whilst a popular book by Professor Arnold Cassola depicting the Great Siege of Malta from the Turkish perspective via Ottoman Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent is also set to achieve publication via a successful campaign.
