MAPFRE MSV Life’s Life Insurance Awareness Month

MAPFRE MSV Life, Malta’s leading life insurance company will be once again dedicating the month of September to its Life Insurance Awareness Campaign. The initiative aims to raise public awareness of the benefits and importance of life insurance.

Michael Galea, Chief Officer for Business Development at MAPFRE MSV Life explained “Whilst everyone’s circumstances are unique we all have a need for life insurance at different stages in our life. However research clearly indicates that a significant portion of the Maltese population remains uninsured or under-insured since most life policies are simply used to cover loans”. He went on to explain that “many of those who do not own a life insurance policy have the wrong idea of how much such a plan would actually cost with over 80% overestimating it’s actual cost”

MAPFRE MSV Life has therefore launched an awareness campaign to promote the importance of life insurance protection and to highlight the fact that life insurance is not as expensive as one may think. Comparing the daily cost of life insurance with that of items we purchase on a day-to-day basis the campaign will aim to make it’s audience appreciate that a life insurance protection plan is affordable and indispensable in providing financial peace of mind.
