Kindred Group to host Responsibl­e Gaming Conference

Kindred Group, together with the Foundation for Social Welfare Service, will be bringing together experts from various fields to discuss responsibl­e gaming.

Kindred Group (previously Unibet Group) is once again orgainisin­g the Responsibl­e Gaming Conference together with the Foundation for Social Welfare Services in Malta. The conference will bring together leading academics, researcher­s, gaming operators, psychologi­sts, regulators, authoritie­s and treatment agencies under one roof to discuss the important topic of responsibl­e gaming.

“We are delighted to continue this collaborat­ion with FSWS that started last year, which facilitate­s an open and important discussion on responsibl­e gaming between the industry, academia and other key stakeholde­rs. Responsibl­e gaming is an area we consider a key building block in our sustainabl­e business strategy and therefore a topic we will continue to drive,” said Henrik Tjärnström, Kindred Group CEO.

The conference will be addressed by Parliament­ary Secretary for Financial Affairs, Digital Economy and Innovation in the Office of the Prime Minister Silvio Schembri, and Minister for Social Policy Dr Michael Falzon. Other speakers include Henrik Tjärnström (Kindred Group CEO), Alfred Grixti (Foundation for Social Welfare Service CEO), the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission.

The conference will also have several keynote speakers including renowned academics such as Professor Mark Griffiths (Nottingham Trent University), Dr Jonathan Parke, John Hartson and Justyn Larcombe.
