BOV launches new suite of consumer lending solutions

-

Bank of Valletta has launched a new suite of consumer lending solutions, targeted at supporting a broad spectrum of financing requirements for the retail customer.

Speaking about the suite of solutions, Chief Officer Consumer Lending Edward Grech said that the bank has revisited its consumer lending solutions portfolio in order to ensure it is tailored to meet the needs of its customers. “At Bank of Valletta, we are committed to provide financial solutions that are built around the needs of our customers along with a supporting framework within which they may carry out all their banking transactions.”

The Bank’s Consumer Finance function itself is consolidated with a view to enhancing the bank’s offerings and services so that the customer is able to obtain the service required in a more timely and convenient manner.

The bank is launching the new suite with a specifically designed promotional campaign that sees its financing solutions as the key enabling customers to open a new chapter in their lives, be it a new or second home, a car or investing in ECOfriendly products, to mention a few.

“We have re-evaluated all our financing offerings for the retail customer and are convinced that the newly designed offerings provide value for money for the customer, both in terms of the conditions of the financing as well as in relating to their pricing,” added Mr Grech. A case in point is that the bank’s home loans now fall under distinct categories, which include the BOV HomeFirst targeted at first-time buyers, moving on to the BOV HomePlus for people seeking finance to purchase a second property and the BOV HomeInvest which is aimed at customers seeking financing to purchase a property when they already have two home loans or to have another property as part of their investment portfolio. Mr Grech explained that the latest development in the bank’s Consumer Financing arm was the result of a thorough evaluation of its offerings and the market. “The bank has taken into account market trends and expectations, as well as the feedback that we ourselves solicit, both from our front-liners as well as from the customers themselves. Listening to what our customers have to say is, in fact, an important cornerstone of our customer strategy,” he said.
