President’s Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society and Fondazzjoni Kreattività sign MoU
An MoU between the President’s Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society and Fondazzjoni Kreattività was recently signed at the President’s Foundation’s offices at San Anton Palace.
The MoU was signed by Chairman Rupert Cefai on behalf of Fondazzjoni Kreattività, and by Dr Ruth Farrugia, Director General of the President’s Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society.
The MoU will facilitate closer collaboration between the two entities and will allow for the promotion of creativity as a means of self-actualisation, empowerment and wellbeing. The MoU will also enable both enti- ties to provide safe spaces for members of society to actively participate and interact in creative forms of expression that further individual and societal wellbeing. Through the MoU, both entities will work towards a greater appreciation of cultural diversity within our society.
Fondazzjoni Kreattività Chairman said “We are happy to broaden the scope and reach of Fondazzjoni Kreattività with this agreement, through which we will actively contribute to the development of a more tolerant and diverse society.” Director General Dr Ruth Farrugia said “This MoU will enable the Presi- dent’s Foundation to continue working towards the wellbeing of society through art and creativity. In collaboration with Fondazzjoni Kreattività this agreement will further the President’s Foundation’s mission to nurture and promote wellbeing for all including marginalised and disadvantaged groups”.
Also present were Fondazzjoni Kreattività Artistic Director Dr Toni Sant, and Fondazzjoni Kreattività Business Development Director Edward Zammit, and President’s Foundation Core Team members Janette Schembri, Elaine Balzan and Alessandro Giuliano.
