Studio 18 celebrates 5th anniversary with theatre-themed party
Members, tutors, collaborators and parents got together last month to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Studio 18 – a creative youth organisation that was originally set up in light of Malta's successful bid to host European Capital of Culture in 2018.
Five years on, many of those connected to the organisation, which was founded by JeanMarc Cafà, attended this celebration of five years of stories, learning and memories.
The anniversary took the form of a fairy-tale-themed party, with live music and a performance by Cafà as well as by Rachel Fabri, Dean Zammit and Julia Miller. Five of the young members – old and current – also created an animated speech that remembered all of the members and the most prominent events from the organisation’s history. The event was created, planned and managed by current Studio 18 members, all of whom look forward to further events of this kind in the years to come. For more information visit www.studio18malta.com
