Honouring the heroes
Fondazzjoni Wirt Artna held a special commemoration of its annual Armistice Day commemoration at the Saluting Battery in Valletta yesterday morning - a day early since this year’s Armistice Centenary coincides with Remembrance Sunday. The beginning and end of the two-minute silence was marked by the firing of cannon and Armed Forces of Malta buglers. A full-gun salute was fired after the service.
