Ira Losco’s Bad Habits music video released

Ira Losco has unveiled her video for her brand new single called Bad Habits. This is the sixth single from her double album No Sinner No Saint. The song is definitely an entirely different style and direction to the previous songs which have been released.

The video was directed by Steven Levi Vella and shot by Matthew Muscat Drago. It echoes the 80s with a sci-fi intro reminiscent of the MK Ultra era, the iconic Knight Rider car Kitt, as well as some studio 54 inspired disco shots.

This follows the recent music video release of Hey Now, which already surpassed 300,000 views. “The idea was to replicate the concept of the double album by releasing two contrasting videos just three weeks apart from each other. One release was from No sinner, while the other was deliberately from No saint. Both are intended to be different from one another, much like both CDs in No Sinner No Saint but at the same time related to one another,” said Ira Losco

Some locations featured in the music video of Bad Habits are Malta’s oldest prehistoric site Għar Dalam, Hugo’s Infinity and the iconic BeachHaven Club. With numerous music videos and different acting roles throughout her career Bad Habits sees Ira Losco playing a darker role of good girl gone bad who is seeking revenge on those trying to capture her. Just like the previous video there is a cinematic intro to the music video where we see a hybrid creature that seems to have been found, two scientists who seem to have died as well as a number of hitmen and their master mind referred to as The sinner. The outro of the music video gives the viewer more insight where the character of Ira Losco is eventually poisoned and turned into the hybrid creature we see in the intro. The music video focuses on the capture and revenge between the hitmen and Ira Losco’s character.

Ira Losco, who is currently also a judge on X Factor Season 1, also mentioned in one of her posts that she has six other releases from No Sinner No Saint planned in the coming months which will be accompanied with music videos.
