Marsa: Referee:

After four consecutive draws that put them off the top of the standings, Santa Lucia returned to winning ways in impressive manner, demolishing a sorry Marsa side 7-1.

The score speaks for itself. Santa Lucia completely outclassed their opponents and the score could have been even bigger too.

For the bottom of the table side the situation is more than worried as their fate is almost sealed for Division Two football next season.

After hitting the crossbar through Paiber after three minutes, Santa Lucia had to wait till the 26 th minute to break the deadlock with a Paiber header.

This opened the floodgates on the Marsa fort as Ante Rosero doubled six minutes later, with Jurgen Suda a great goal three minutes later and Nick Borg scoring a fourth just before the break.

In the second half Suda notched his hat trick, Nick Borg obtained his second one, and Ali Sreti scored Marsa’s consolation goal from the penalty spot.
