High profile speakers confirmed for eMobility Summit 2019
Prime Minister Joseph Muscat, the EU Commissioner for Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Karmenu Vella, the Vice President Government and External Affairs from the BMW Group, Dr Thomas Becker together with Jesper Vind, the CEO of Fenris Motorcycles, are in the long list of high profile speakers who confirmed their participation for the eMobility Summit which will take place on 8th March at the Intercontinental Arena in St Julian’s.
The 2019 eMobility Summit will bring together key international industry players, electric vehicle manufacturers, suppliers and citizens together to discuss the key challenges and the benefits of driving an electric vehicle. Other speakers at the summit include Minister for the Economy, Investment and Small Business Chris Cardona, Minister for the Environment, Sustainable Development and Climate Change Jose A. The summit will also present the latest technologies and how the e-mobility sector is rapidly be- coming more interconnected and autonomous. Local and international speakers will discuss and highlight innovations in Technology, Blockchain in the Auto sector, Ecodesign, Energy Storage, Power Distribution and the Circular Economy.
The summit will open with a speech by the Prime Minister at 10am followed by a discussion on Electro Mobility Consumer and Society. This will be followed by another discussion on The Auto Sector in Perspective and free networking lunch. The afternoon sessions start at 2pm with a discussion on New Technology in EMobility, another on E Mobility and Lifestyle followed by Formula E and closing remarks.
