For the third consecutiv­e year, on Thursday, 11 July, Infinitely Xara Co. Ltd owned by the Zammit Tabona family, proudly hosted a dinner in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza.

The dinner, attended by over 170 people took place in the magnificen­t piazza just outside The Xara Palace Relais & Chateaux, with a stunning backdrop of the boutique hotel’s facade and the majestic architectu­ral feat which houses the Mdina Local Council in Misraħ il-Kunsill.

Under the patronage of His Lordship, Mgr Joseph Galea Curmi, Auxiliary Bishop of Malta and Fr Martin Micallef, the director of id-Dar tal-Providenza, the dinner raised €26,300. Over €81,300 was raised in the past three years.

The dinner was also attended by various establishe­d companies, who generously donated money to support the Home. The principal partners for the night were The Point Shopping Mall, V. J. Salamone, Francis J. Vassallo & Associates Group, Conrad Family Office, PWC, MFSA, GSD Marketing Ltd, KRS Releasing, Halmann Vella, Insignia, Malta Internatio­nal Airport, Seifert Systems Ltd, The P. Cutajar Foundation and the Mdina Local Council.

Special thanks go to all those who generously donated to the fund-raising and to Rachel Galea, Michelle Gialanze, Decielis by Zoe Hili who sold their work during the night and donated part of their proceeds to such a noble cause.

Infinitely Xara treated the guests to an exclusivel­y crafted five-course meal, accompanie­d by a selection of wines and live acoustic music by Fiona Cauchi during the balmy summer evening. All the staff at Infinitely Xara, from chefs, to waiters, to hosts worked voluntaril­y on the night.

Company director Nicola Paris thanked all those present: “Thank you to all involved who supported us for the last three years and for raising funds for such a good cause,” she concluded.

Infinitely Xara is the collection of The Xara Palace Relais & Chateaux, The Xara Lodge, Palazzo de Piro, The de Mondion Restaurant, Trattoria AD 1530 and The Medina Restaurant. Infinitely Xara also hosts outside catering events.
