CorSa is a running community established in Malta in 2021 that organises four national races yearly, including the internationally acclaimed aBBoTT six-major qualifier La Valette Marathon that attracted participants from 55 countries worldwide last March.

CorSa’s Kids run races are the first series designed to spark a new ‘Personal Best’ in children with their participation, followed by a celebration of family activities on a public holiday – Friday June 7, in Ta Xbiex.

This is a unique opportunity for children to feel empowered and motivated as they strive to beat their personal bests.

The organisers have prepared three races for children of all ages and athletic levels between five to 16 years.

a 500-metre fun run for all children from five years upwards starting and finishing at the Ta’ Xbiex Marina, near the Black Pearl will start at 8.30am.

The other two races are timed with a 1K run designed for children aged 7-12 as well as a 2 kilometre race for children aged 13-16, starting at 8:15am and 8am respectively.

These two competitive races will start at the Ta’ Xbiex Marina Waterfront on a start line situated between the waterpolo club and atlas Insurance and finish with a celebratory family activities organised by after Glow Events at the Ta’ Xbiex Marina Car Park.

This promises to be a day filled with fun and enjoyment for all participants.

“our parent-running community has highlighted the importance of inclusive family events, inspiring Corsa to introduce Beat Your PB for Kids,” Francesca Scerri, Logistics Director for CorSa, said.

“Sette Giugno will be a morning of shared achievement, confidence, and joy as families unite in a unique event with health and fitness at the forefront.”

CorSa has included all schools around Malta and Gozo in encouraging participation, community and athletic spirit for children of all ages from around the island by encouraging children to set a personal best, race to a festive finish line, and enjoy family activities, games, and live entertainment after the races.

“CorSa’s parent-running community has not only demonstrated the power of participation and achievements in the masses; we wanted to inspire and ignite that same feeling of accomplishment in children with the Beat Your PB Kids run series,” Matthew Pace, Founder and race Director at CorSa.

“on behalf of our organising team, our endorsed athletes Dillon and andrew, and our esteemed partners Teamsport and UBEr, we take pride in organising our first national event for children, offering an accessible opportunity for all ages to participate, set personal records, and enjoy a festive finish line as we create cherished family memories.”
