WINE TASTING IN PROVENCЕ

-

Agood way of getting to know the south of France more closely is to go on a personalised wine tour of Provence, including visits to the famous wine distilleries at the very heart of the region. For example, a wine tasting in the charming village of Saint-Jeannet, located in Alpes-Maritimes, 13 km from the village of Saint Paul de Vence, which is known as the ‘gem of Provence’. This is the site of vineyards that the ancient Romans started to cultivate two thousand years ago. During the tasting, you will be able to try dozens of wines, and find out more about the process of wine production, about grape varieties and food pairing. And after seeing the vineyards, you will be able to visit the mediaeval village with its narrow streets, pleasant gardens, ancient houses and fountains, and finish off the trip with a country-style picnic.
